Winkelmann WDB-2 chassis #8 (last of 8 built). This car competed in professional SCCA races in 1970 including Sebring, Lime Rock, Mosport and St. Jovite, finishing as high as 3rd place. The 1969 Winkelmann is known as the "Wedge Model" due to the radical placement of the radiator in the nose of the car. The car has been vintaged raced in the Pacific Northwest for the past 20 years. It can be seen on track at the Portland Historics and SOVERN vintage races over Labor Day weekend at PIR.
